Tamith Hattingh

Tamith Hattingh is a versatile improv instructor, actress, and voice-over artist with a profound passion for the performing arts and their transformative applications in corporate, educational, and personal development contexts. 

 

After earning her Drama degree from Tshwane University of Technology in 2010, Tamith relocated to Cape Town, where her journey as a professional improviser gained momentum. Her standout accomplishments include co-producing the 2017/18 Mama City International Improv Festival, performing and teaching at Dubai’s renowned Courtyard Playhouse, and co-founding The Improv Cart in 2020 - an innovative collective dedicated to cultivating South Africa’s improv community through dynamic performances and workshops.​

 

Known for her authentic, engaging teaching style, Tamith excels at creating collaborative spaces that enhance communication, adaptability, confidence, and quick-thinking skills.

Sipumziwe 'Pags' Lucwaba

Pags is a Cape Town based actor, improviser and former member of The Long Shots Improv Comedy Troupe. After graduating from UCT in 2010 with a degree in Film and Media, he began attending drop in classes with The Long Shots, soon joining them as a permanent member. For the next decade he regularly taught and performed improv at venues and events around the country as well as several festivals in Dubai. He brings a passion for creative collaboration and adaptability to the corporate world, helping teams harness the power of improv to foster innovation, communication, and team dynamics.

Natalie Robbie

Natalie is a seasoned actor, improviser, and workshop leader with a diverse background in performance and corporate training. Trained in the UK at The Oxford School of Drama and Goldsmiths College, Natalie has built a successful career in theatre, television, and voice work, while also specialising in using improvisation to enhance leadership and communication skills in the corporate world.

 

In addition to her performing career, Natalie is a highly experienced improviser and workshop facilitator, with a deep understanding of how improv techniques can be applied to enhance professional development. As a member of the acclaimed Cape Town-based troupe The Longshots, she believes improv can be extremely useful in building confidence, improving communication, and fostering creativity not only on stage but in corporate and team environments. Natalie’s work with clients such as EY, KPMG, and McKinsey has involved designing and facilitating interactive, role-play-based training sessions that challenge participants to think on their feet, improve client interactions, and develop key leadership skills.

 

With a career that spans stage, screen, and corporate spaces, Natalie is deeply committed to the power of practical learning and is always inspired by the positive shifts she witnesses in her workshop participants. Her energy and enthusiasm for improv and performance-based training are infectious, and she takes great pride in helping others discover the best in themselves.
